Fleet/Ground Service Equipment (GSE) A Mechanic SFO AIRPORT - Wage compensation $25.00+ based on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic A is responsible for properly diagnosing and performing repairs to gas and diesel-powered engines, hydraulic, electric and air brake systems. The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic plays a critical role in the continued success of the company’s’ and employees’ safety.

- Professional and detail-oriented thought process.
- Read and understand Manufactures materials.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions using electrical and hydraulic schematics with test equipment is required.
- Repairing, reconditioning and maintaining equipment components.
- Preparing and completing electronic work orders
- Maintain company equipment; keep in clean and orderly condition
- Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI's)
- Work in adverse weather conditions when needed
- Communicate orally and in writing information, instructions and explanations to associates and management regarding equipment conditions, problems and recommendations
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Possess/maintain a valid state driver’s license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
- Technician must own and maintain required personal tools and test equipment to perform their job and Tool Box.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or move up to 75lbs and /or more
- Must work safe at all time. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards
- Knowledge of airport Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and airport operations is a plus
- Work hours are days and evenings, including weekends (All based on 40-hour work week)
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Be Certified in Air Brake adjustment to meet the needs of the Company
Education
Two to Five years related experience and/or training.
